Security Foods Wagyu Beef
Security Foods uses Karoge Washu bred Wagyu and Tajima Bloodlines, selected on the basis of extensive progeny testing (over forty years), to breed large numbers of feeder cattle that are fed in company-controlled feedlots. Through ongoing training programs, the company is educating Australian farmers to correctly feed and manage these cattle from birth to slaughter.
As such Security Foods prides itself in being able to produce beef that is not only juicy and tender but most importantly tasty.
Quality Assurance is an extremely important aspect of Security Foods. Since 2005 Security Foods have achieved 100% JAS accreditation (Japanese Agricultural Standards). As part of that process the Company is audited yearly by the Japanese Organisation of MAFF. As a consequence, Security Foods are still the only company outside of Japan to be accredited across our entire Wagyu Production and are able to maintain 100% traceability on all carcases produced.
